Thumbs up

Hey Mav,

Will be a huge day at Eagle Farm tomorrow, looking forward to it

Race 1 - Few chances in the first, but i like Scottish Reaver. Can run good times when he wants to and can also run on pace. Only issue might be that he doesn't seem to run his best at Eagle Farm. Interstorm has been running in stronger races than this and can figure with a good tempo. Best of the rest maybe Racetrack.

Race 2 - Will be an ordinary betting race with the toppy taking most of the market. I'm never convinced with a3 jockeys on short priced favs, but Vitruvian won well last time, and more importantly...the time was quick. Mighty Victory has attracted some betting attention in a couple of his starts, and might improve here if allowed to dictate out in front. I have a serious doubt above the form out of that Matinee race, blanket finishes are impossible to work out...

Race 3 - October Grey has a distinct advantage over many of the field here, a good barrier coupled with a good performance last time. Scared is in a similar position and can figure also. Alvaldi bears watching first time at the races with Stewart booked. Luck in running will play a massive part here with the big field...maidens are not my cup of tea though

Race 4 - Mitanni is close to a special here. If he can return to anywhere near his best, he should just be too good. He can be somewhat unreliable at times, but when left alone in front (and when he doesnt bolt on the rider), he runs well. Twanged ran nice time last time, i've just got a doubt on whether he'll be able to replicate that run...Maybe Astroflash for a placing, with the quality country trainer who knows when to bring them to town...

Race 5 - Bit of speed here, which won't help Rock Cafe. I like Perette, who was seen getting to the line nicely in the Rock Cafe race. With the speed on, and the long Eagle Farm straight, i think she can go close here. Art Success did well to win the other day, time wasn't flash though. And maybe Gold Victory a chance at odds, barrier is a nightmare though...

Race 6 - Again, i can see a lot of speed here, which won't help some of the favoured runners. For that reason, I like Palatine. 2 runs back from a spell have been good, and the drop in class from the last run suits big time. Agree that Prang is a good chance on the last win. Naturally Lillabiddy has to be given a chance, but the times she has run at the Coast haven't been anything to write home about...

Race 7 - I hate myself for doing it, but i like Countess Bathory here. I just can't see much opposition...especially with the weight relief she gets. I know that she is up a little bit in class but the 1 barrier and her overall consistency just leads me to think she will be right there again...Distinct lack of speed might help Umaprince (if he ever starts?!), they might press forward on Pager also - which will help his chances.

Race 8 - Nightmare race to finish on. Cocktail Shaker a nice chance after 2 unlucky runs. Go Riding has put in a couple of reasonable runs its last 2 and can go close here. I'm prepared to risk I'm French (which i think will be unders), just think the horse has been hyped a little much for what hes done. Having said that, i'm assuming he'll be single figure odds?

Best is Mitanni with a nice rough chance to Gold Victory if he can get in from the alley.

Oh well, good luck with your bets tomorrow everyone,

Sven
