Hi there,
this is just personnal experience and observation from the 5 times I have been in a casino.
a) The person spinning the wheel is quickly changed when a player wins big 2 - 3 times in a row.
b) If the player continues to win big supervisors etc get very agitated talking on their radios
c) If the player keeps winning the table gets closed
I saw this happen 3 out of the 5 times!
The 1 time I actual player roulette this happened.
I watched the game for about 15 minutes to learn what was what. I then joined in with my $20 chips and 1 spin at a time picked a number. 5 misses in a row, which is no big deal knowing about odds and statistics. I then picked up on the winning number sequence. The winning number had moved 3 spaces anticlockwise round the wheel for the past 6 spins I could recall! A bit much for chance, random events but still possible. I put all but 1 remaning chips ($60) on the next number which was 0. I won, I then did something which in hindsight I should not of, I put my winnings onto the next number in the sequence. The spinner looked at me then looked across the room. I won again, the spinner was replaced and 3 heavies appeared around the table. I then repeated the sequence. The ball went 4 spaces anticlockwise. The relief from the spinner and heavies was quite audible. I felt very intimidated tossed my last $20 randonly onto the table got up and stood back. It didn't win. The table was closed down and the heavies and spinner mock smiled at me as I left.
So much for fair tables and playing conditions. I was having a fun bet like the majority of other punters, and in the process may have watched a rigged game.
