My thoughts...
Race 1 - Its hardly a big call, but i agree that Enrique looks the goods. Big run last time and this field appears to be a bit weaker. Hopefully there is enough speed and Colless can get it to the outside in enough time. Nik Nak Noee and Stirling are other chances but i think the toppy is too classy.
Race 2 - Like Geeteehaycho here. Not a great deal of luck last time and hopefully can take up a more forward position. Good hit rate also, which is more than can be said for some of the opposition. Nothing wrong with the form of Rampant Lion though, all you can do is win. Go Riding can improve on the last run here aswell, in the easier field.
Race 3 - Umaprince has the form on the board and i can't see a reason to jump off. Will be right on the pace and i can't see too many of these hassling him out in front. Tropiqualo was a big run last time, and agree, the time was huge. The alley just worries me a tad. Kanetoshi Millions is better than his last few seem, and can improve at odds.
Race 4 - Don't really care to be honest. Devastating does look too good, but small fields are a trap. Concitare is a nice horse on his day and Bohemian Dancer can go alright too. NEXT
Race 5 - Like Tsolias at odds here. Terrible to see what happened to him in the run last time, just didnt get a good go at the them. With adequate speed (which i think is likely here), he'll be coming home well at the end...looks an out and out stayer. Rock Cafe is there, just don't think he'll get his own way out in front. Lord Rupert is a chance after the nice win last time, he's best at this distance.
Race 6 - Mesmerising is the horse on the way up, and can go close here i think. Has shown good promise in her few starts to date, so with some speed on she will be there at the end. Crystal Wit ran a big race last time (without an ounce of luck) and can go better here from the 1. Good tough win by Denise's Diamond last time, but this is harder and theres more speed.
Race 7 - I like Road to Heaven here, so lets just hope i'm not behind at this stage of the day. He's not the most reliable character going around but i just think he can go to the front and with the light weight might be able to pinch it. Malta is a good chance, just needs the speed on...same applies for Never Sad (who ran some very good races in and around Brisbane a while back).
Race 8 - Bikini Bottom will give a good sight here. Excels fresh and can go very fast. Alley is a worry, but hopefully can burn them off and get across no worries. Romantic Journey was a stunning winner on debut but this is a huge class rise and i just think it might be beyond him at this stage. Mighty Crossing has been racing well out of town (especially with a good win last time at Toowoomba) and could surprise at odds. The speed looks hot in the last race so it might suit the backmarkers....so naturally, i've picked 3 on pacers
Good luck everyone
