Thanks Mav. I need some help tonight. I noticed last week that on the pace horses were the way to go at Ipswich. Is that the norm? It seemed like a pronounced bias to me. How drastic do track biases change over there between meets and is it caused more by track layout than course conditions and surface?
I usually back horses that close on any turf as a rule, but I try to play the track as well as the race. I like inside speed at those tight turn tracks with short straight. I wish your racing would give fractional times on the screen so you know if your horse has a chance and know what he had to overcome. That is huge tool here. Our announcers may stink but those Aussie saddlecloth numbers are brutal. I can usually follow my main runner, but when somebody's coming from way behind, It's hard to tell who it is even with the silks.
