Default How to spot the best favourites

The favourites in each race are checked for the following criteria:

Horse/Class: Must have shown the ability or obvious potential to seriously compete in the class of today's race.
Horse/Track: Must have proven ability on either today's track or one with similar characteristics.

Horse/Recent: Analysis of general form over the last few weeks.

Horse/Dist: Must have shown the ability or obvious potential to run competitively over today's distance.

Horse/Draw: Highlight any obvious disadvantage if applicable.

Horse/Going: Must have shown an obvious ability to handle today's ground.

Trainer/Track: Trainer must have at least a 10% strike rate on today's track.

Trainer/Recent: Trainer must have had at least two placed or one winning horse in the last 14 days.

Jockey/Track: Jockey must have at least a 10% strike rate on today's track.

Any favourite that passes at least eight of the factors are worth following.
