FLEMINGTON

Race 1 - I don't think I'll be risking much here. Looks a wide open race with a host of up and comers. Take your pick from about 7 chances. (9,2,6,7,10,1,3) I'll be looking for some sort of value from that lot. 9 DEREGULATE is my top pick, but not confident.

Race 3 - Well, if his Geelong Cup run (non run) means anything at all, then 4 MR CELEBRITY is definitely the one to beat here. Very promising horse needing a win to make the cup and he has the ability to do it. 1 CONFECTIONER & 8 UPRIZE are the dangers.
(4,1,8,3 - 7,11)

Race 4 - On weights, 5 ASTRONOMIA looks just about a good thing here. Terrrific run last start and the 53 kg looks good. 7 EMPRESS LILY & 6 BEAUTY WATCH are the main dangers and will hopefully be running on with an eye to the Oaks on Thursday.
(5,7,6,1 - 8,12)

Race 5 - Looks a good race for multis. I think 13 SHANIA DANE & 11 LOTTERIA are the top picks here. Good consistent form in strong races against the males. 1 MISS POTENTIAL & 15 JOHAN'S TOY are dangers.
(13,11,1,15 - 4,2)

Race 6 - I've been following 1 PENDRAGON & 4 HEADTURNER for a while and in my opinion, they're the classiest horses here. I think that one of them will probably win. 3 DUELLED & 5 GALLANT GURU next best.
(1,4,3,5 - 6,9)

Race 7 - A match between 3 LAD OF THE MANOR & 9 ACTIVATION here. Activation is a very promising horse coming through the ranks. Meanwhile Lad Of The Manor will be advantaged by the jockey change. He's won 2 of his 8 starts this year and both times he was ridden by Greg Childs, whereas Brian Johns rode him on the other 6 occasions. Enough said.
(9,3,1,2 - 4,5)

Race 8 - Probably won't be betting much if at all here. Looks VERY open and which side of the track will be the best??? For what it's worth, I think the best chances are 4,5,9,11,16, but not confident at all.

Race 9 - Not keen here, but perhaps 4 RECAPITALIZE could be worth an each way bet. Any number of hopes in this race. (4,11,6,1,3,12,2)
