As I recall, Siver birch was going very well at that time and 2 starts later ran 3/20 G2 hcp. 1600m. at Randwick.
Sort of francs the time Dracs Back ran the other day regardless of where it was.
Seems that any expectations of odds better than 6/4 might be a bit fanciful.
Dracs back is a lightly raced 4yo of course and whatever problems kept it from the track for so long might be lurking again. |
