R5: Platinum has to be hard to beat, based on goods run last two in the city. Gold Weave unlucky 2nd last start, this course & distance. Mordor won a class 1 this course & distance last start as a maiden. Simply Marooned can surprise if she can get a good run up on the lead.

R6: The topweight Main Stage looks the hardest to beat. Also qualifies as a "topweight" system selection. Biraka Girl lightly raced and goes well fresh. Bring It Home Babe good 2nd to Cool Eyed last start - Cool Eyed ran a good 3rd yesterday at Ascot.
