No if you make a selection and it gets scratched then you get the favourite however if you simply do not make a selection then you get the bottom numbered horse in the race just so happens this time it was Blinded.

I have also been giving the favourite on days when there have been multiple group1 races and someone has missed one but other than that any missed selection recieves the bottom numbered runner.
