I don't think you can judge competition results and come to conclusions, I for one use competitions to test theories in real time rather than use current successful strategies.

It's a great way to get a running picture of how it's panning out, and still be able to tweak "in running" without costing a penny.



For example, I entered the Godolphin competition and used the best overall Timeform rated horses, and fell flat on my xxxx.

So now I know to lay the timeform horses or use another method.
