Default Excel Problem

Hi, i posted this question on an excel site but can't get any help maybe a punter with good excel knowledge could help.

I am trying to import some data from a bookie site problem is part of the data is formatted to a point i can't use it, how can i get it to a usable format

here is a link to the site
http://www.sportingbet.com.au/uipub/...ventType=races

I can just import the table i want but if you import the whole page the section i need to work columns AG and AK now AK has some separation i can work with np but AG changes the number format and i can't get it back to the original numbers.
