Jazzy, having run my own forum years back, you add a list of censored words to the database because mostly those words are used in an argument or derogatory comments. It saves a lot of moderation time.
However, I see your point, that some words can be used in Aussie vernacular, and are part and parcel of a view and the way we speak generally.
I think they just cover themselves to cut down having to go through every single post. |
