Last night I did quite well in getting Trifectas after scoring on my 1st effort.
The nature of this Form of betting is Few collects.
I was fortunate later in the night when I scored one that returned me over a $100.
I don't know yet if it was luck or skill.
I do know that Sportz often reminded me that the Trifecta was there amongst my selections but I didn't manage to get it because of poor betting practises.

The nature of greyhound racing is that it is so easy for a Greyhound that can't possibly lose on Form, manages to run unplaced due to getting smashed during the race.
I've seen just as many incidents in a 5 dog field as well.
Its just part of Racing.

Bendigo Race 8

One that I'm not familiar with has ended up on top
ANSTEY CLOSE has had 5 starts here for 2 wins and close up 4th and 5th in very good times.
Box draw is a Big worry though.
SALVADOR has an excellent record here as has RONCHI, who was my Original selection mainly because it runs in town.

5 ANSTEY CLOSE $3.1
4 SALVADOR $3.7
3 RONCHI $8
7 ELITE LAW $12
1 GOLDEN PATCH $13.5
6 ESKIMO MAGGIE $14
8 FROSTY HEART $25
9 GO TO AFRICA $50

Looking at these prices, it seems the top 2 are the ones to have as the winner.
And then have perhaps RONCHI for 2nd and the next 3 dogs for 3rd.
That would send me over the $6 Limit
If then it was 2 dogs for 3rd, then that would be the $6
But I feel that unless the top selection is Rated at Odds on, then it is preferable to have less dogs running for you, but with more selections in the win Line.
