Imagine the physical toll some jockeys put themselves under riding trackwork in the morning and then racing in the afternoon, some seven days a week.

Also weight comes into it, many jockeys waste to make the weight for a Saturday, and the physical exertion would surely impact on the Sunday.


Its about the only thing I could come up with as well, everyone is over the week by Sunday and is posting it in to a certain extent. I know I would hate having to work Sundays.

Not a big deal, I'm happy to keep my sanity and leave Sundays alone.
