Bad news for star WA pacer Chicago Bull. Has been ruled out of the New Zealand Cup after fracturing his back.

Trainer Gary Hall Sr expects the injury, suffered in a freak stable accident in New Zealand, will sideline Chicago Bull for at least six months.

Chicago Bull will not return to Western Australia until he is fit enough to travel.

Chicago Bull was recently crowned Western Australian Harness Horse of the Year, for the second consecutive year.
