I made the Grand Final for the APL this season ( Was top of the venue leaderboard ). Anyone else going to the final ?

i stopped playing that because the level of competition and the amount of suckouts are pathetic
although i love it when they come down to the casino and drop a few hundred

I agree the level of competition is poor and the only way you lose normally is early to someone who goes all in on nothing and hits.

Hopefully the final will be better.

At least the final is 3K chips with 20 mins till increases in blinds.

I should be able to sit out most hands until all the poorer competition has played stupidly and lost. Then i should have a bit better competition to play which will be easier to read and chip up with.

Don't know how wesnip went, but I made the final table in NSW. finished 6th.

Certainly was a thrilling and epic event.

I came about 50-55th .. 7 tables left of 7-8 people.

I was going well but lost concentration for aout 5 mins and went from 34K to about 4K in 3 hands.

The hand I got knocked out was KK. I was all in pre flop ( only had 2K left ) and had 4 callers. An ace came on the flop. Turned out 3 people had an ace in their hand.

It was a fun day though.
