A Question for the Data Base Boys......
D k Weir and Bjorn Baker have a reputation of Placing their horses in the right races as I assume Gai Waterhouse does (in Gai case also quick start from the Barrier)
Does anyone know of other trainers equally as good. Cheers. darky |

I'd guess that Matt Dunn would be right up there.

I've looked at this before and its too variable. By then time you work out which trainer is good at placing horses they hit a bad run and fall back to the averages.
Over the longer term the better trainers sit at the top of the leaderboards each and every year. Stick with those. |

Problems is, they are usually over bet.

I agree in general they are overbet. But there are ways to still edge out profits on them if you target the right races. |
