Sim mode is red hot so be careful, you will get warned by Betfair for using the API without placing bets.

Hi 217

Shaun and the Ocho have pretty much covered this for me. I have BFBotManager running on a virtual machine 24/7 which allows me to access the bot from wherever I am, using a variety of different devices, e.g. iPad, phone, PC etc. Running this way also gives the added bonus of the network and power backup systems provided in the data centre. I've been bitten by the Summer power outage at home once too often. VM's raise other issues so I'd get familiar with what you want the bot to do before taking this path.

One of the traps I've found with sim mode on these bot's is that generally you'll always get matched which we know from real mode isn't necessarily the case. You're much better off setting aside a small development bank and testing with real money.

I found it using Sim mode that one can use say 3 systems at once targeting single selections is fine.

Its when one goes for 3 systems all doing multiple bets in one race, that it can cause BF to send you a letter.

Smile Betting bot question

Thank you all for your input, you are a mine of information and your help is greatly appreciated.
I have found on the net a bot called The Greyhorse Bot that it is claimed will do all
functions I require.
Does any member have any expierence with this one?

I see it cost about $40 per month and although that is reasonably expensive it has the advantage of giving it the short shift if things don't work out as expected, and I'm sure we all have had that happen to us in one way or another.

The $40 would be a small price to pay if the previous research results continue.

Smile 217

For those members interested, I have finally decided to go with the BFBotMANAGERV2 to handle my betting activities.
My decision was made after digesting comments made here by members and from a close friend who trialed the GREY HORSE bot and although it's very good he and the marketers couldn't get it to do quite what we required. We had more success with the alturnative and have now gone with it.

After some early teathing problems it's opporating quite successfully and we are using a loss recovery programe set at 60%. Expierence has shown with all gambling activities nothing is 100.0% and loses will occure and need to be recovered sooner rather than later and this built in function will be handy.

Again I thank the members who made contributions to this thread, they have helped me and their comments may well light the spark of an idear in some one else.

I agree. BfBotmanager2 is probably the best fully automated system that I have used. Well worth the money and good customer support.

Best of luck with your betting system.
