Question odds on info, please

Hi all,

I'm hoping for a little bit of information regarding "odds on" runners, gallops mainly. But trots and dogs would be interesting too.

Can someone give me an estimate of how many there are each week or month for all Aust races, please?

Thanks

Mike.

Odds on (< $2.00) :

Around 140-160 per month for Australia.

Dogs mostly, don't know the numbers but the shorter they are the more I lay them.
That is for win only.

You'd be surprised how many $1.2 dogs fail to win, many do too to be honest, but still not profitable for backing.

Thank you UB, that's actually a little higher than I was expecting.

Cheers Mike.

I don't know much about the hounds, thanks for the info.

Cheers, Mike.

It's an old one that I was working on over twenty years ago. I called it my retirement fund, haha.

I can't remember why I stopped working on it. Either it didn't show a profit, or if it did the profit was too small for the risk involved.
More likely though there was a girl involved!!!

Where to? The poor house probably hahaha

If it shows promise I'll let you know, if it doesn't you won't want to know.

Cheers,
Mike.
