Default Siamun

Does anyone know what the status is of the Tony Vasil trained grey - Siamun

Last raced in Oct 2004 and not sighted since. I cannot find any information to say if he is in work, still spelling or...... dead !!??

Anyone help?

Default Siamun...

Hi Stix,

Im am familiar with that particular horse.

It was spelled in Oct 2004 and suffered a shin injury (don't quote me on that, some leg damage, possibly tendon related also) and hasn't been trained and/or recovered since.

Siamun is still alive... Try calling the stable reception and enquire?

nelgsta.

Wink He's Back......

Siamun ran @ Cranbourne yesterday (R5) and WON .... paid $8.50 and $2.30

I didnot see the race but apparenlty did it on his ear.... Thought VaAsil would have him super fit after his injury layoff.... thing that really excited me is that it was over 1200m, usually likes it @ 2000m.....

Anyone see the race?

I think is one to follow.... not sure how far he'll go but.... with his turn of speed, he'll give you a good sight every time

I was at Cranbourne Sunday, and had the inside knowledge it would run well, as it won first up over 1000 last prep.
Missed the kick, and was booting up the whole race, saved ground by hugging the rail, and just kept going. It was a strong win in a pretty good race.
On the strength of the win you would follow it up where ever it went next. Although it doesn't have a great second up record.

Thumbs up ...... close.....

The story continues.....

Siamun ran yesterday (Race 6) at Sandown.

Listening to the race, He was bowling along in front, was headed 200m out and sounded "goRn", rallied and was pipped by sht 1/2 head........ still paid $2.20 place....

He is resticted, but for some fun....... you'll get your money's worth (and at least I've told you.........)

Yours In Punting

Stix
