Racing Tips for punters
I started punting 18months ago and lost a few thousand in worthless bets, tips and software. I left punting for 6months but loved it that much I decided to give it another go. This time I set some ground rules and read a lot from this forum and others. I suggest newbie’s and others having some problems to follow a few simple rules. I'll list a few of mine below.
1. Don't be GREEDY. GREEDY people will fail. 2. Set targets and limits on how much to gamble(invest). My target is 7units a week my max bets are $100. 3. Don’t bet with money you can’t afford. If you do you’re under pressure to win and your selections become distorted. 4. Have patience and wait for the right bet. If someone gives you a tip do the form or you could lose your $$$'s. Don't expect punting to be a get rich quick avenue because it just simply isn't it takes time, patience and discipline. Since following rules and taking time to read form I’ve managed to recover my lost money plus more so it’s possible for anyone to make money on punting as long as they are prepared to spend the time to learn. This is only my opinion but its working for me so I thought I’d share. If you have something to ad please do as you never stop learning . |
