Rosehill:

Race 3: 4 Woodgrain. I think Woodgrain is an honest horse who has gone very close in the last two starts. Prima Nocte and Barbeton are both going up in class - they also have a wide barrier to contend with, and Barbeton has too much weight to win

Race 4: 4 Daniels the Man is my first pick, to beat 5 Snippetson. DTM has saved some his best runs for first up - Not his best distance but has placed 8 times on the track including 3 wins. Snippetson has been matching it with the best of them but the distance is the query.

Race 5: So many chances here.... 3 Irongail, 4 Stormhill, 5 Zumanity, 6 Railings (a personal favourite), 8 Chrimson Sakura......any of them could win - Irongail was awesome last run, Stormhill has turned into a classy horse, Zumanity has got home well last few, Railings' Gp1 3rd was so impressive, and Beadman could easily wrap the race up...Chrimson hit a bad patch but rarely fails badly - only beaten 3.5 lengths last start and hit the line well...

Race 6: 1 Spark of Life a special...no Dance Hero hassling it up front, and will be just too fast for this field. 60.5 kg will nt halt its chances. I thought 7 Binding trialled nicely despite Hawkes saying its season might be over...

Race 7: 12 Carry on Cutie will shorten immensely today...almost tore through the fence last start and it will probably settle about 4th 2 wide which is fine....i think the melbourne horse 9 Big League will be the outsider to watch...got home okay on the heavy track last form and has been consistent. Watch closely

Race 8: 10 Blizzardly will be the one to beat - great previous form and fantastc stats on the course. Ran a good 3rd behind Lotteria and Fashions Afield in its latest trial and is just a very smart filly. 2 Chrimson Reign hasn't been beaten over 1100, and 1 Virage de Fortune is a danger as well
