Genuine Spirit- 2nd. 27/1 the win, 3/1 the place. so much for place betting.
Pity, would have been a nice start to the quaddie.
1st starters are always a conundrum and seem to be placed in quaddie races where a limited few have any knowledge of their ability.
Still alive though with a small saver bet when the money came for Bronzetta.

It really is annoying when Maidens or races with numerous first starters are within the Quaddie legs....... ........Don't know why they bother

hence me stay away until VR do the right thing and have decent fields for thier Quaddie.....

They do it to stymie the form students and turn it into a lottery.
What they are really doing are satisfying a select few with knowledge of horses such as Bronzetta.
Finally went out of the quaddie with captious.
Interesting that nikolic jumped off captious onto World Explorer.
After the claim World Explorer met Captious 1 kg worse for 4.8L defeat last time they met.
The answer is a pineapple.
Going to pin my faith in the 1st upper, Cannyopra in the last.

To my very small fan base, not much joy today.
4 placings from the four 1st selections, $4-50-$1-90- $1-70-$1-50.
5.6 unit profit for place bettors from a 4 unit outlay.
Tomorrow is another day and sooner or later that long priced winner will be found as in the past. (close today with Genuine Spirit $28-00)
No Ratings, no computerised mechanical point scoring and no tips from other sources, just personal opinion from study and analysis.
