Hi Guys ..been away for the week ,,but back in time for tomorrows races ..
got lucky the other day on Maxy Legs, Nessuno and Standabove today
so i'm feeling pretty good,,

Race 1.
i Like Pirate Queen ..looks a professional racehorse this one..not usually stoked up about the Maraudings as 2yo's but Baileys got this one going very well..Colless rides these 2yos well and even though he has the bad barrier the start at Ef isnt to bad ..
wise to keep an eye on Mellificious who won a trial very nicely ..little Nozi loves this track and likes flying home at the end..Menorah the other i thought had a good chance,,

Race 2.
I found one at double figures here in RAshini ..this horse has untapped ability ..his last sectionals are very good ...this track will suit him and having the good barrier hopefully he wont be as far back as usual..nice speed in the race will suit...
Should get e/ws about him...i like bowditch on these type of horses where the horse needs a good rev up ..he has alot of strenght does Joe and he lifts them through the gaps..
Moonlight Shadow and Emit the dangers..

Race 3.
I'm not a huge fan but in this field King Latarmiss rates highly,,he usually takes a while to get fit and this horse and even though he was down the track last start he was never given a real chance...he looks well placed here on the big track ....like him alot..

Race 4.
not a big fan of this race but i thought Instructed should give a god sight..this horse is ultra consistant has a good trainer and Jock and races handy which will be an advantage here with no real speed up front..should sit off Cortigiana and be to strong at the end..

Race 5.
Decibeel over the shorter was impressive last start..i like this distance for him...has no weight and gets the speed from Picablu that he needs..
not sure about the Lad with the distance so i'll risk him even though he was so good to me last week,,,
Scenic Wells and Devil have to be in there somehere...Scenic's run was huge last start...and he racing better than ever..

RAce6.
I'm a Lindalay fan..won a bit from this horse and looks well suited here..I like Rodd's ability to settle a horse and this should suit Lindalay who sometimes over races...the distance suits and so will the track ....not much in this race .maybe Hard To Catch and Mining Silver the dangers...

RAce 7.
ALot of speed in this race ...the Princess looks the one but she wont get it easy up front especially with the barrier and others that like to lead...looked for something to sit off the speed and came up with A Little Naughty and Love and Money and Star Of Asia...was hard to seperate but i thought A little NAughty would be hard to hold out..i know Elissa isnt everyones favourite but he often comes up trumps in these close races..he has no fear and goes for it...it sometimes doesnt come off but he'll have something under him here and i think he'll go well..

Race 8.
not a fan of this race...if i'm in need i'll look at Aim So High ...gets the good run and that will be the difference in this even field..
Orrong with the claim deserves a win...i'm a fan of Stood Up and if he looks good in the inclosure i'll jump on this one...the barrier is scary but class usually overcomes these obstacles ...

Looks a good day tomorrow, with the highlight the fillies and mares race later in the day. The weather looks good, so we should be in for a good even track for the day.

Race 1 - I like the way In Your Honour hit the line last time behind Diamonds Am I. He seemed to get run off his legs, but when balanced up, he really finished off well. I'm thinking with the Eagle Farm straight and the extra 100m to run, he'll be well suited. Agree that Pirate Queen looks good, the run behind Reigart is a great pointer for this race. The time last run was pretty good too. Hethel is a full relation to Hard To Catch, and could run a race with the claim and the 1 alley.

Race 2 - Like Bold Reason here. Nothing at all has gone right in his last few runs. But tomorrow, with Cahill and the reasonable alley, i think he can go forward and control this race. I loved his win here back around carnival time. Emit Time will prefer this grade and distance and can bounce back. Good alley and the gun apprentice help no end. Vive Le Roi disappointed last time, but i'm willing to forgive one run. He is much better than that, and could trouble some of these on best form.

Race 3 - Who'd know. Pretty ordinary race really, but i don't mind the chances of Tackman. Has raced in much better company than this, and the 3 alley from the nightmare starting point is a plus. Classy Darcy ran them ragged at Ippy the other day, and if left alone in front might be able to repeat the dose. Image of Reality is the class in the race, and if she returns to anywhere near her best, she'll demolish them. She hasn't looked likely to return to form judging by the last 2 runs though.

Race 4 - Don't like the race. Absolom has been running Ok around the place and so has Instructed. They are both chances. Sir Sensible was a strong win at Ippy a couple of weeks back, and the 2nd horse has come out and won since, so i guess thats a good pointer. As you can see, i'm really confident about this one .

Race 5 - No speed here. Picablu will go forward, Daunting Lad might not be far off them, Devil has been known to go forward too. I've settled on Picablu. A mile is as far as he wants to go, but he has a good record at the distance, so i think he'll give a good sight. Devil, on figures, is my top pick but i just think the speed will play against him. Daunting Lad was a great win last time, and if Patillo holds him up for one last sprint, i think he can get the journey. The quick back-up is a concern though.

Race 6 - Hard To Catch looks a class above them to my eye. If Radecker can give him a nice run in transit, i think he'll be too strong. Step Right In finds it tough to win in town, but has undeniable ability and can figure strongly at the finish. A roughy with a chance is King's Valour. Second up record is good, and the run behind Murray Downs last prep was better than it looks on paper. Taylor knows how to get those longshots home too, he got another one on Thursday .

Race 7 - Like Shysu. One of the most genuine mares going around. We now know that not only can she get a strong 1200, but she can take a sit - which she may do here from the 1. Princess Margaret's record speaks for itself, she seems to just have that will to win, and it took one of the most unreliable horses in Australia to beat her (Amex ). She'll be there at the end, for sure. Excellent Ann has run some nice races in town before, and will be ready for this, i'm sure.

Race 8 - Not a great one to finish on, but i don't mind the chances of Ashbury. Has been around the mark lately, and more importantly, this is not strong. From the good alley and with the good Jockey, i think he'll be there at the end. Fred's Boys had a good first up win in NSW country and can transfer that form here easily with a good run. Mersey Best has a shocking alley but the form up north is great. Might run a big race at odds.

Good day in all, my best would be Bold Reason and Shysu with a nice rough chance to King's Valour.

Just looked at the NSWTAB market.. holycrap, there are a lot of non starters in that race.... MB is 8.5 this early...MB has been very impressive with a combined 13.9 lengths winning margin in it's last 3 wins Even tho this is a No Metro race, it is a pretty big class rise from a CL3 at Rocky

There is one of Mark Mason's going around in the race, it is a pretty handy horse, that is the horse I would be looking closely at... He is Open Class winner at Tamworth last start... It is definetly the horse to beat

You should get a pretty fair price about Mersey Beat, mainly because Fred's Boys will attract a lot of cash.. and rightly so

Hi guys, apart from a couple of races found this meeting pretty tough, but here goes.

R1 - Pirate queen should be hard to hold out, wide barrier shouldn't be a problem especially with Colless, has good form lines, hard to beat. Wasn't a bad first start by In Your Honour ran home well, Jakelli won well at Toowoomba can't leave it out and i thought Silent Power could run well at good odds. (2,10,1,9,4,6)

R2 - Moonlight Shadow won very well first up and is unbeaten second up, should get a nice sit behind them and storm home, wouldn't be taking anything too short though. Lasting Luck has good form ran well behind Coincidental at the Coast and Envelope might lead and be hard to run down. (3,2,5,4,1,6)

R3 - Milady Clang has been racing well of late, might lead or get the sit behind Classy Darcy who i have in for second, they look the only two that will race up front. Tackman might get the sit behind these two and if they cut each other up he should be the one getting over the top of them. (3,4,2,5,1,7)

R4 - Tough race this, majority of horses in this race like to race handy just behind the leader but couldn't find anything that will actually lead, so went with Cortigiana from the one alley to beat the consistent Instructed and if they go hard up front expect Super Stardom to hit the line well. (2,3,5,10,4,11)

R5 - Really like Decibeel in this, missed the kick last start behind Coincidental but still really hit the line harder then anything in the race, extra distance definitely suits. Picablu might get a soft lead and could prove hard to run down, while i give Double Portion a good chance at odds. (6,3,5,2,1,4)

R6 - Going for Kanetoshi Millions in this, super run in the MM Cup the other week, hoping Palmer can get him in midfield somewhere and kick him home. Overlook Step Right In's last start and go on his second to Hard To Catch good barrier should see him race near the lead, and thought Filibeg could run a nice race first up from the inside. (3-4-7-1-9-10)

R7 - Can't go past Shysu in this, meets Princess Margaret much better at the weights and the inside barrier a huge advantage especially seeing PM has barrier 12, in saying that PM's run behind Amex from the 16 gate was a superb effort but only carried 51 compared to today's 57.5. Given a nice run Love And Money could knock the top 2 off. (1,2,4,7,3,6)

R8 - Orrong finally gets its chance to notch up a well deserved win, gets in very well with the claim and good barrier, distance suits. Aim So High could run well, but is very hot and cold, and Fred's Boys from Tamworth won well in a Tamworth open first up and has decent second up form. (1,7,3,4,2,5)

Best - Pirate Queen, Decibeel, Shysu, Orrong.

Best at odds - Kanetoshi Millions and Envelope.

had a shocker...actually my worst day for a year...that trifecta wasnt enough to get me out of trouble..
lost heavy on king , decibeel and intstructed..
and afew others around the place..

awfull...this year sucks so far..but hopefully it'll come good soon..
