![]() When using unitab ratings or similar with 100 as the top rating would it fair to assume that 4 pts = 1 length? I read this somewhere but thought I would ask all you knowledgeable folk

![]() The standard when using the Wizard ratings is 4 points = 1 length .
Unsure whether other ratings would fit the profile . Cheers. darky. |

![]() I guess thats where I read about it. If I use that formula then 80 pts unitab ratings would only equate to being 5 lengths off the pace and this seems a little strange as horses with a rating of 80 dont win as often as what horses that rate 5 lengths behind on ratings similar to Don Scotts. I mihght try using 2 pts to a length.

![]() Yeah, I'd say 2 pts is a pretty good approximation.
