Online casinos
Hi, I was thinking about getting into the online casinos, seeing they "seem" to be quite generous with their sign up bonuses. I know about the minimum wager rules as regards turning over your money but can anybody using these joints bring me up to speed on any other restrictions as well as pointing me in the right direction as far as the more reputable ones are concerned, that is being able to get cash out easily without being ripped off. Has anyone been ripped off?
If the casinos cant be named here could you send me an email please? sonnyboy64 at optusnet dot com dot au thanks |

I did these seriously for the first half of '03. The bonuses aren't nearly as good now as what they were back then, but they're still worthwhile I guess.
MANY casino's let you deposit with no intention of paying you back, so you ahve to do your research about who is reputable. Read the terms and conditions carefully. Many bonuses do not allow BJ play when meeting the requirements. Personally I think poker is a much better way to make money. It doesn't take much to get a higher hourly rate, and it's much more longterm. Casino's don't require much skill though, just memorizing some play charts (I assume you know these, if not check out 'basic stategy' for blackjack and videopoker at wizardofodds.com) |

Dr Ron,
One poker site I belong to is Partypoker.com. They just overhauled their software and one of the changes they made was to merge their casino operation and poker room so they share the same account. Check out partycasino.com. I can confirm these guys are quick to payout upon request. They are the biggest online poker room and probably biggest casino too. Also they're listed on the UK stock exchange so they're pretty reputable.
I think they have a 100% first deposit bonus right now - don't know the T&C of this deposit though...
And you can learn poker this way too, if that does anything for you
I think most online casinos are ok. A quick Google of any site you come across should alert you if there is any mischief going on. I guess the same goes for internet casinos as any other venture: if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
In any case, Most interactive gambling sites don't accept credit cards (I think because it's illegal to play these games in the US), so you'll probably need a neteller account or similar. Depositing and withdrawing from neteller may add costs you didn't plan (especially the currency conversion fee) on so it might be worthwhile to factor that into your equation too.
Cheers and good luck! |

Yep use neteller for transactions. Most casino's are NOT ok. Usually because they are ********** or their bonus just sucks.
Planetluck and Starluck have good bonuses and are owned by the company that owns party gaming. I remember casino-on-net being the largest online casino, although it's hard to say now party has opened its own casino. They have a good bonus, although it used to be MUCH better (giving a solid 3 fig hourly rate). Check out some of the sportsbooks that have casinos, bet365, willhill, bodog etc. Intertops is a good site, they offer a monthly bonus. Microgaming casino's are usually reputable. Be very cautious of rtg. The other thing about microgaming casino's is many of them use software that has an autoplay feature, so you don't actually have to do any work. The fortune lounge group has some large bonuses. Variance is large, so I'd recommend you have at least 1000 units in your bankroll (eg $1k, bet $1, $5k, bet $5). It quite easy to bust out during wagering requirements, so don't become frustrated if that happens. And flat bet. Really do your homework on the casino, it's repuation and the terms&conditions. It's all pretty easy really. A good way to find sites that have useful info would be to use google. Doing bonuses at an online site is usually called 'whoring', 'hustling' or 'hunting' so try that. |

Thanks for the reccomendations Mr J. Looks like a bit of a minefield as regard to finding the more legitimate sites. I tend not to put too much faith in what I read written about some as it's pretty easy for employees for a ******** site to put up positive feedback on a forum. That being said I do trust what I read here especially from people who have been around the forum for a while. Thanks again.

Dr Ron,
I was browsing and found http://www.bonuswhores.com/. A poker website, but a lotta good info at the casino forum that relates to this topic. Thought you might find it useful. |

Yeh that's a good site for bonuses. It's targeted towards poker bonuses but there's decent casino/sportsbook content there.
