Default Progressive Slipper Day Tips

Feeling good having just got Snippetson home, so am going to do continuing tips for Slipper day

Randwick Race 3:
SEPIA stands out and should win quite easily after good runs in the randwick guineas and gosford guineas. Maybe throw in Cool Scene and Amen for the multiples

Mooney Valley Race 3:
HOLY BOUNTY and CLASSIC PINK should be fighting this out. Both coming off good runs and are up in weights, but come down with 3kg claims. Holly Bounty did very well last start against rising horse Zipping, and Classic Pink has been showing a lot of fight. Both have good barriers as well

Question

Will be interesting to see how Sepia goes. I would normally tip him too, but he's got bar plates on this week. Phil Purcer from Just Racing says that is a big no-no. He reckons that if you see a horse in the gear changes with bar plates on, you should ignore it, because they just don't win. This will be a BIG test for that theory because Sepia is a clear favourite. Let's see how he goes.

hmmm, had a problem with the site for the last 10 mins so couldn't post my special Serenade Rose.....

Mooney Valley 4:
I like favourite [b]PENTATHON[b] to beat Hong Kong Cheri here. Both come down with the claim, and have had good form in recent starts. Pentathon had a good run behind group 1 winner Demerger last start and ca nonly build on that.

Not going too well after a good start, but:

Rosehill 5 (BMW):
Looks to be a race in two, with EREMEIN and RAILINGS set to fight it out. Eremein is back to career best form, and has won 4 at track and 1 from 1 at distance. Railings has been improving every run and is a genuine 2400m runner. Look to Dizelle for value

Like Gallant Guru and Doubting in Adelaide. The Guru has been racing consistently of late plus he's not a bad type at all, at all. Doubting beat Serenade Rose last start in Melbourne, which doesn't seem to be bad form. I suppose they'll make a fool of me now but with decent odds would be worth a shot.

Ahh thats better, railings and eremien taking out the quinella with dizelle 4th

Mooney Valley 5:
MYPOLLONGA at fairly short odds should be winning this, with a very sold 2 len win last start over this track and distance. Only up 1.5kgs on that effort and has barrier 1. Apart from that maybe El Bandito if you can get around 10s

Mypollonga won well paying $3.30. Good work XPT baggin the quinella, despite it only paying 60c more than the winner

George Ryder:
Well. What an open race. I think the winner might come from either LAD OF THE MANOR or PARATROOPERS. Though Dance Hero, God's Own and Racing to Win all look very good. I won't be betting.

Childs I feel is out of form at the moment at his best I wouldn't take anyother jockey in Australia but right now he doesn't seem to be getting things right there is no way that Lad should have been that far back in that race hell he was behind Patezza Great run from him I would say it will be all systems go for the Doncaster now not sure if my money will be on him but he deserves on of the big ones.
