Unhappy Terrible week....bring on the Caulfield Cup

What a horrendous week this old yank has had. My 16 y.o. stepson blew the engine in his Altima, 1,000s of $ to fix, He also lost his glasses at a concert a couple of nights ago, $120. Today driving from work a lady pulled out in front of me on the two lane highway, going slow, then changed lanes wherever I went to get around her to keep me from passing. When I finally got around her, I got stopped by the local gestapo for speeding 67 in a 55 MPH zone, $235 fine. Bad week, real bad week, so I stopped at a bottle shop and bought a 1.75 liter bottle of really good rum. I have now sit down in front of my computer to handicap the Aussie races at Caulfield and Randwick tonight I intend to play these tracks AND get sloshed. A safe evening, at least. Maybe the old woman who lives with me (wifey) will leave me alone tonight and let me punt.

All that being said, hot tips are now being solicited for the gallops tonight, at any track. I doubt any race course is going to have a benefit race for underworked and overpaid yank chemists, but my extra and unexpected expenses are killing me, so pass your good tips on to me and I will bet
them and try to improve my week. I'm going to get sloshed either way.

The Caulfield Cup looks very tricky, seems like half the field is capable of winning it. Great racing tonight. Good luck all.

Avenger, I probably can't tip you into a winner, but I'll give you a few that are risks at the price quoted in the pre-post markets if you like. It may not win you any money, but it might save you a bob or two.

They are:
MELB R6 H3 -BENTLEY BISCUIT.
MELB R6 H7 -ROYAL IDA.
MELB R9 H3 -POLAR BEAR.
SYD R4 H1 -REIGNING TO WIN.
SYD R5 H9 -PHILOLAOS.
All silly prices IMHO.
