SALES EXECUTIVE - 2 positions

Thoroughbred Racing SA Ltd is the peak body responsible for the regulation, administration and development of thoroughbred racing in South Australia.

We seek to appoint two experienced sales professionals to assist regional clubs develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives, which will include activities associated with:

To increase and develop club, regional and raceday sponsorship.

To assist the associated clubs with pre-selling corporate and social club hospitality packaging.

Working with club committees in the region to enable the successful implementation of sales strategies.

Packaging racing industry product for identified target markets.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager in Adelaide, the positions will be working with either the Murray Bridge - Oakbank - Strathalbyn racing clubs or the Balaklava - Clare Valley - Gawler and Barossa racing clubs.

The successful candidates will possess a strong sales and/or marketing background. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with limited direction are essential. Previous involvement in sales or sports sponsorship would be an advantage.

A competitive remuneration package, including a car allowance and performance based incentives, will be negotiated.
