![]() All,
Just in case you are thinking of taking the double :
Look at The Accumulator prices on Betfair and you will find you can get anywhere from $1.91 - $1.95 for backing the two favs (geelong and storm)
But you could put all your money into Geelong at $1.39 and if you win place it on Melbourne on Sunday at (price may flucuate) $1.51 for combined odds of $2.10 which is a lot better than your $1.91 - $1.95
You can even see it on Centrebet :
Geelong / Storm = $1.91
Geelong at $1.33 into Storm at $1.47 = combined odds of $1.95
That may not seem like much but over a lot of bets it adds up. Its one way to find value.
Good Luck

![]() yes its tricky finding value especially with the injuries for the storm and manly and also port finding form at the right time
i took geelong -melbourne double at $2.95 two weeks ago but if geelong win i'll be saving a little on manly maybe 1-12 other combos are port under 39.5=3.45(i would be very surprised if Port manage to win that it would be over 40) melb 1.50 5.18 port under 39.5 manly 2.50 8.63 geelong manly<13 5.18 manly <13 port<39.5 12.94 you could dutch bet away from the favoured combo and get a result about 70% on a 100 unit investment |
