Well that race didn't go according to plan did it? , nevertheless still a great race , but did it help answer questions towards the Cox Plate or create more questions?

The latter i would think , for instance what happened with Sunline , she had a relatively easy run in front but died in the last 100m , was it because of a lack of recent racing? or is she feeling her age? It now seems pretty hard to see her running 2040m on the Moonee Valley track against other champions.

And what about Lonhro? Hard to judge his performance after having run into deadends all the way down the straight , still finished it off well i thought.

And Defier is he the real deal or what? Judging on that performance YES? Plus we know he will get the 2040m judging by his Queen Elizabeth success over 2000m last prep.
