I just heard that George Moore is ailing and the best wishes of all racing fans and participants go out to George and his family.
Definitely one of the best riders to ever throw his leg over a horse and the likes of him probably won't be seen again.
He dominated Australian racing for more than a generation and also travelled overseas to win the English Derby...truly a champion!
I'm sure that others would like to express their own tribulations for a "once in a lifetime rider."
