ICAC Inquiry
Does anyone believe that a full and open inquiry should be held by ICAC into the racing industry(all States)?
In an article in the Sunday Telegraph on the weekend the journalist mused: ...what with Tony Mokbel threatening to name jockeys, trainers and officials he bribed......." He went on to mention the "Allanson" affair so, importantly, what do the rank and file punters think is going on in this industry? All comments are welcomed so maybe this discussion can "clear the air" in this industry. I ask you.....are the rank-and-file punters being treated like "mugs?" Cheers. |

The industry has always been as crooked as a dogs hind leg so enquiry or no enquiry nothing will change except a total waste of public money.

If an owner/trainer doesn't want a horse to win it won't
This has been going on for years and will continue If a horse is set for a particular race and the owners/stable want to back it it would make sense to "not win" some of the lead up races thereby establishing a better price,'on the day' Sports punting is probably just as crooked,i.e. match fixing etc |
