Default Saturday 3rd May

No thread started for this week, so may has well put one up

Randwick:

Race 4:
2 All American
Been crying out for longer than the 1200 and gets its chance now...good run in the slipper in the circumstances. Sebring will be feeling it today..three tough runs in 3 weeks...i'm happy to take the $5.50 for All American

Race 5:
1 Typhoon Fury
Has the class and the form to beat these....came pretty close in a ouple of Slipper lead up races, before failing in the heavy....back to a better class and should see them off, $4.00 prepost is inviting

Race 7:
3 Pentathon
12 Resolution
I'm going for the Pentires here...i'm sure everyone saw Pentathon's blistering run two starts ago...and he was not disgraced lumping WFA in the BMW...two miles should suit to a tee and Shane Dye's first proper winning chance since coming back i'm happy to have him on. Resolution is an interesting one...was competitive in NZ coming 3rd in the Sydney Cup equivalent....had a 6 week break before running a 1.5 len 3rd to No Wine no Song last week, all signs promising, can run the distance and should be good value.

Race 8:
1 Racing to Win
I really struggle to see anything coming close to RTW here...got the class, got the form...Casino Prince isnt at his best at the 1400....Murtajill isn't up to these yet....Double Dare a good place chance at odds, always competitve, great fresh record

and a few for the Gold Coast...

Race 3: 1 Riva San
Race 5: 15 Strong Choice
Race 6: 14 Tan Tat de Lago
Race 7: 1 Scenic Shot

Good Luck

I reckon Quizzical Lady might run a nice race in the Silk Stocking today at the GC. Finally has drawn a decent barrier and with a light weight, should go well.

Dead 5 and a lot of form that is hard to line up with horses from Vic and NZ. running just to confuse things. Bookies will probably do well again.

One Vic. horse I do like is the Ellerton horse Bellini Rose in the last. Loves the distance and the dead. If it handles the way of going, could be a nice bet.

The Cup might be harder than it looks though it's hard to go past Pentathon.
I wouldn't be surprised if any one of these won: 3,6,7,8,12,1 ....or even something else!

Forgot to mention No Wine No Song. Might give Pentathon something to worry about!

Resolution has least run the distance but still a C1 horse.
