Pompeii Ruler is out for the spring remainder and will miss out on another Cox Plate run after scans this morning on the Group 1 winner revealed damage to a near-fore flexor tendon.

That's a big waste. I was almost all out on him!!! Lucky me.

Sad to see him hurt again good horse that just can't stay away from the injury bug.

It's 7 now yeah? Will it come back? Im real fan of the Ruler, always a fan of a good honest horse.

Geez bad couple of days for a couple of my old favs in Pompeii Ruler and Maybe Better with the later being required due to bone chips and another injury.
