hard work, but guaranteed
I think this would come under the heading of "Systems betting", I have been looking for occasions where I can make a book (using BEST odds available, from wherever) to at least 98%. Needless to say this is not easy but it does happen, I actually found 3 today 2 all in and 1 with deductions, (thankfully not applied) but still a bit worrying.
But my pont is that I have noticed that I can usually manage it in very small fields like 4-6. I actually had one today at 75% in a 5 horse field. an absolute gift! It usually involves Betfair, and/or a begging phone call to one or more of the bookies that I bet with. but it is very satisfying when you get set. Just wondering if any other systemites concentrate on smaller fields like this, it does seem to be an "angle" |

Well not exactly like that, but I've been arbing with great success on UK races.
Previously I thought all bookie/betfair arbs got snatched up by bots. This isn't the case Win and place markets have plenty of arbs on most races. I green up the arb by laying a little more and usually find two or three per race at various times before betting closes. I can't believe this is going on so easily. The only problem is if odds change, but I make sure I get matched on the exchange first, then put the bookie arb on. I've had a couple of occasions where the bookie price has moved, but usually I can just back it back on Betfair for a clean breakeven. You get them for a few minutess on the win market, but the place market is the bomb! - some just sit there for ages begging repeat arbs over and over. And damn it, I'm sitting up late again. I swore I wouldn't do it anymore, but it's worthwhile, so I'll work week on week off I think.
