From: The Daily Telegraph January 09, 2010 12.00AM Unbeaten filly Military Rose can end a home- track hoodoo and fulfil a career ambition for trainer Gillian Heinrich in the $2 million Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast today. Snippets was trained by Sally Rogers and was the only horse she had in work. Heinrich has never even had a placegetter in the Magic Millions but said she has never saddled up a better winning chance than Military Rose. "This filly is definitely the best live chance I've ever had," Heinrich said. To read the full article click here. |

![]() Interestingly, Military Rose's half-sister was put up for sale, prior to Military Rose's win on the weekend, & passed in at $90,000. Up for sale again this week, purchased for $150,000.

![]() They paid $155,000 for Military Rose
Given what she has already earned & may earn $150,000 for the half-sister could easily turn out to be a real bargain |
