i am interested in place betting,does anyone know what percentage of my bank should i place per selection:ie 5%

It's ironic that someone who bets place only has the username "excited".
"Bored witless and slowly going broke" would be a better monika.

I don't think you should ever take a horse, solely for the place as you take out your best possibility for the most return.

Have something on the win at all times, say 10% on the win and 90% on the place.

Personally i back two horses to win in a race.
