Default Class types please

Just want to know how many class types there are in each state??
Eg. Maiden then bm55 bm65 etc. In Sydney how many types are there and how do they compare to the old class 1 through 6 and open?

Then in WA there is ratings??? I want to group races together eg. Maidens one group, class 1-4 another group, class 5-open another group and group races and listed in another group?

The plan is too analyse these different groups to refine my system to possibly certain class races...

Any clarification much appreciated...

The research continues hopefully some results to post soon...

I,d email the various race clubs for the info.
Its really a minefield.
Far better in my opinion to rely on Field Strength Figures (available through the WIZARD online)

Cheers darky

Another question then might be easy for someone with a data base to answer???

Could one assume fav's in a class 1-4 race would have a higher S/R than fav's in say group type races or maidens???

Any thoughts might save me a ****load of long handed research...
