Horse, barrier, weight & trainer

1 Blevvo (B) 7 OPN 58 D R Harrison
2 Corporate Bruce 9 OPN 58 H S Mc Laren
3 Exit Lane 2 OPN 58 M J Midgley
4 Finito 15 OPN 58 P H Humann
5 Main Stage 13 OPN 58 A R Taylor
6 Tumeric (B) 8 OPN 58 A D Mathews
7 Zaheed (B) 3 OPN 58 R S Taylor
8 Tribula (B) 5 OPN 55.5 A H Mortimer
9 Suspicion 10 OPN 55 L Smith
10 Hardrada (B) 1 OPN 51 L P Luciani
11 The Right Money 6 OPN 51 T M Andrews
12 Zoometric (B) 4 OPN 51 G W Webster (Snr.)
13 Superior Star (B) 14 OPN 48.5 N D Parnham
14 Trimagic 11 CL2 48.5 N D Parnham
15E Aussie Strike (X) E1 12 CL6 58 R B Rogers

Hard to imagine how any of the horses from the Railway Stakes can turn the
table on (10) Hardrada – he has dropped 0.5kg while the rest are all going up in the weight. (2) Corporate Bruce & (4) Finito are both classy & could surprise despite their weight rise (3.5kg & 2.5kg respectively).

Not sure how the other 3yos line up, would appreciate it, if Sandgroper or other WA based forum members could shed some light.

Hi Paddy, you might want to repost the stating line-up, some of your tab nos. seem incorrect.

There are 8 realistic chances in this race, depending on horse performances on the day & of course lady luck.

Not giving away much when I say that Hardrada is the horse to beat, however he is way under the odds at just over even money, on both NSWTAB / OZBET fixed odds currently.

I’ve rated two horses within 0.75len of Hardrada, both horses are currently at double figures on fixed odds – very good EW bets!

Top six last year included all three 3Y0s that ran – Miss Precisely almost pinching it at 20/1.

All five 3YOs this year, have made my top 8 list.

Corporate Bruce and Finito are nos. 1 & 2 respectively. Hardrada still no. 10.

Thanks for the input Sandgroper (I think!) :???:

Decipherin your comments Perth Placegetter, Corporate Bruce and Finito are currently under double figures with fixed odds, so they are not either of the two you have rated within 0.75 len of Hardrada  – hope they are in your top 8 at least.

Looking at the 3YO form, The Right Money looks the best of that lot, has Harvey aboard. Come to think of it Zoometric’s form looks OK, always running on, carried a lot of weight last start when 2nd over the 1800m. Superior Star beat Trimagic last start over 1600m & appears better suited by the extra distance :???:

Lets see, 8 chances, 5 3YOs, that leaves 3, if 2 are CB & F (I hope), that stills leaves 1 :???: :???:

Not funny Perth Placegetter

Hardrada - certainly the one to beat but will probably be too short in the market.

Finito - right on their hammer in it's last three starts, capable of beating Hardrada if gets an easy run.

Corporate Bruce - Finished .10 lengths behind Hardrada last start, must include as very consistent and up to this class.

The Right Money - throw into the first four. Been racing well in slightly lower class races. Capable of causing an upset at decent odds.

I’m tipping The Right Money to beat the favourite Hardrada, Zoometric 3rd with Trimagic at very good odds for 4th.

I've taken the 15-1 Zoometric. Santa has his hand out so need a little monetary enhancement.

Zoometric
Hardrada
The Right Money
Blevvo

Good luck to all,
Cheers
Cosmo
