Default Another system for 2011 - Long shots

I am feeling generous so here is another simple system that makes a profit with betfair. It really is easy to make a profit on betfair.

The rules are :

Barrier 6 or wider before scrachings
CP top rank (From R+S neurals)
Speed Map at R+S indicates horse will sit as a Leader, Pacer or On Pacer. (L,P,OP)

There were 1746 selections for a return of $1996.35 over 6.5 months. Made a profit on 3 of those months and was close t breakeven on another month.

Strike rate is 22%.

Betting $5 minimum (offical minimum only) at betfair is a profit of $1251.75

This system makes its money on the big priced horses. So if you restricted it to $10 + you get 385 selections for 27 winners (7%) for a return of $589.40.
Thats a 53% profit.

I did Mooney valley and caulfield and it did increase the profit. But I don't know which tracks are regarded as leader biased (I have over 326 tracks in my database). Correctly classifying 326 tracks would take a while.
