Race 4 - Laurinel Argie - Weetwood cup prelude, this horse has returned from a stint down south (ran second in Tattersalls Club Cup in Sydney), loves this track (7 races - 4 wins..2 seconds) and that is very important in Toowoomba, with a sharp uphill run after the start. Barrier only concern, but if runs well today, will be a big show in Weetwood Hcp on March 27.

Thanks Paddy, think I should stick to my local track for tips. Will post for the Weetwood Hcp day here in Toowoomba. Pretty happy about the odds for Laurinel Argie on Saturday, and more than a bit surprised, considering it's form, especially on the track.

Unfortunately Qtab weren't offering odds before then for the Weetwood or I might have been able to take some juicy odds for that as well. Have had a bad run last few weeks everywhere else. But at 20-1 I'm smiling again.

P.S. Paddy, think I saw that Leprechaun last Weetwood day in Toowoomba at about 10pm, after much too many beers when my workmate's horse "Ours" won. Or it may have been a rosebush I spoke too. Whoever it was they sure weren't very talkative.

Unfortunately found out today that Ours will not be going for the repeat in Weetwood as has a leg injury and will be out for 3/4 months.
