My Lays
I have been profitably using a lay system over the past 125 races for a profit in 72 of the races, and have not yet had a losing day. But that will probably end today due to the Forum Curse.
Each of the following horses I will be laying S.P. for a liability of $33. I expect they will be fancied in the market. Werribee 2/ 1, 6, 10, 12 4/ 4, 8, 9, 14 5/ 1, 5, 10, 12, 14 6/ 1, 2, 5, 10 7/ 1, 4, 5, 12 8/ 4, 5, 7, 13 Balaklava 1/ 5, 8, 9, 10 2/ 2, 3, 9, 11 4/ 1, 6, 9, 13 5/ 2, 4, 8, 11 6/ 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 Coffs 5/ 2, 3, 8, 11 8/ 2, 3, 9, 11 Quirindi 3/ 5, 7, 8, 13 4/1, 2, 3, 10 5/ 2, 4, 7, 10 6/ 1, 2, 3, 4 7/ 1, 8, 10, 11 Rocky 1/ 1, 5, 6, 7 2/ 1, 2, 3, 8 3/ 1, 2, 3, 4 6/ 1, 3, 7, 8 8/ 2, 4, 5, 6 Northam 6/ 1, 2, 3, 4 8/ 1, 6, 8, 9 9/ 4, 6, 7, 9 |

The Forum Curse has struck in a big way!!!
There were 11 successful races from the 25 for a loss of $84.89. There were 2 odds-on races where the fave won and that is where the damage was done. Hopefully tomorrow will recoup today's loss. |

Sorry to hear that michaelg
At least you have landed some here n there, perhaps? Lord G's cabinet has been empty of 'lays' for a fair bit now. No master blasting going on there, I'm afraid. Ho Hum! LG

In spite of today's disaster I'm more than $200 in profit from the method.
If Rocky 6/1 had been beaten I think I might have been in profit today. So I'm still hopeful. Last edited by michaelg : 21st June 2012 at 07:33 PM. |

If I had omitted the odds-on race of Geelong R8 it would have been a good day, and yesterday I would also have had a good day if I had omitted the two odds-on races. In spite of that I won about $10 today.
Looking at the form guide over the past week or so and targeting races where the price of the pre-post fave is a minimum of $3.50 then the profit would have been quite pleasing. To more or less ensure the fave is not too short, if any of the top three faves is scratched then it becomes a no-race. I might do so from tomorrow but I'll have to give it some thought because today there were only four races, even though they were all profitable.
