Default Bet Bot Pro Upgrade

I thought rules were made to be broken? Haven't used the bot for a week or so for my lays, opened it up this morning, accepted the upgrade and low and behold it will no longer accept lays on a fixed % liability under the $30 minimum.

How dare they fix loop holes! Back to paper testing new systems, yawn.

If you have downloaded and saved the setup.exe file for previous version 2.4.2.0 on your computer you could uninstall the current version and reinstall the old.

Someone may be able to email you a copy.

Why would it stop you as that is only for SP you can lay any runner on betfair for any amount of liability you choose.

I've always used SP and up until yesterday I could test systems with any amount of liability I wanted to but not any more. I was also under the impression BF had a minimum fixed liability of $30 full stop, obviously not.

Oh ok, so the software was letting you do that, i wonder if betfair will make it that all software is unable to let you bet under the minimum now.

With Betting Assistant it wouldn't let you do under $30 liability on SP but you could do under the $5 minimum on any bet as long as your account held enough to place the original $5 plus your bet.

I have a feeling Betfair has had a quiet word in the ears of the developers of all these bots and said either change it or you don't get access to the data. I still can't understand why you have a 5 buck minimum back bet but a $30 lay, can't see any logic in that at all.

The $30 is only for SP because they have to work out the price before the start of the race.

I am sure someone with a bit more knowledge could show you an example why this is.
