Could anyone elaborate on why Sydney racing is "crap"?

I get sick of hearing about the superiority of the Melbourne racing scene. Here are my views point by point.
1.VRC Derby Day is the most over-rated race day on the calendar. It is very good but the windbags from Bleak City tell us it is the best day's racing in Australia! A Derby for immature 3YO's, no 2YO race, a WFA race that is used as a track gallop by most entrants for the Melbourne Cup, a sprint run on the most ridiculously biased course in the country i.e. the straight six.
2.The quality of horse in Victoria is no better than NSW. They haven't won a Cox Plate for 12 years so the WFA ranks are very thin. Group One results prove the equality.
3.NSW Stewards run rings around Vic. Leone Chiara aside, have a look at the "dust under the carpet" treatment of so many beaten faves down there.
4.The Melbourne betting ring is a sad joke. The Sydney ring is the best in the country by 10% at least. Contrary views must be based on ill conceived information.
5.Track biases in Melbourne occur at Caulfield (leaders paradise), Moonee Valley (what were they drinking when they designed that place??), Flemington straight.
6.Jumps racing is a 19th Century British abomination that should be banned. Get with the times fellas!
7.Between May and September all you get is wet tracks.
8.No trials required for 2YO's is so stupid it defies words.

The best Australian Race days occur in the Autumn and are Blue Diamond Day, Golden Slipper Day and the Randwick Easter Carnival.

Sky Channel have been offered the showcase of Australian racing for nothing and still refuse to show it. I hope Tab Ltd prices collapse, Sky lose broadcast rights to someone who knows what they are doing and we can get a service of all racing we deserve.

many of the points made are possibly correct except that the randwick track has left a bit to be desired.

my complaint with sydney is a certain lack of competitiveness in the dominance of particularly the hawkes stable and a lesser degree waterhouse and the affect this has on competitiveness.

the tendency to have below standard numbers in the fields is a big problem on many occasions and over the past few years the golden slipper is going this way with very low numbers of competitors in the lead up races.
but several years ago the lowest class race on a saturday was "no greater than two metro wins in past year" but now its almost maiden class. there is a tendency also to have very high prizemoney for races with b/all starters. (this is also happening in melb now).
i know i sound a knocker but i used to claim sydney as the pride of australian racing once but its not these days. but hopefully it will come back.
