Jimmy! There is no need for that!
If you have a rule you must stick to it, not chop and change because of temporary setbacks! I know dozens of punters betting on horses which are way below their true value and at the end of the day they all depart the TAB with empty pockets. And they do it day in and day out, never recover their bank, if they had any to start with?? Go Long has enough guts to post his bets, and he is prepared to be judged on the merits of his selections!

Hi Jimmy,
You must not look at this as a day to day
operation, I stated earlier it was "long-
term" (monthly). The month starts with a
$10,000 bank (plus $10,000 Reserve) and the aim is to finish the month with $12,000+
to receive our "in,come" ($2000) and any bonus that may acrue. In an earlier post I
extracted the "in,come" ($2000) when the bank was a healthy $16,000 plus if we fail
at months end this is returned to the bank
as UNEARNED.

I can understand the frustration that
is setting in, I did say earlier that
this would be the case, perserveriance
is the key and patience is the lock.

In any systematic progression you are going to have ups and downs. Currently we are down but definately not out (yet), and hopefully we will pick-up before the month is out. ( I think maybe heavy tracks are having a bearing on results) None the less we will persevire till months end on current selection process. I will undoubtally do some re-think for the new month.

hang on a sec, i wasnt paying u out, or putting ******** on you,

your rule was only back them if there over
$6.00. i noticed one was about $5, and the other was $3.2, 1 minute before the race they may have been $6.00 and then they where backed into $5, and $3.20,

all i was saying is, if u had of got on them and then the price dropped u still would of had a collect, which is better than none..........

what u are doing is great, and i respect that, way more guts then i have, good luck

Sorry, did not mean to challenge your thinking, you are quite right there probably are some that I could have had a small return, but by the same token there are many that miss. My research leads me to believe that a minimum $6.00 return will maintain the profit margin.
