Can any one tell me where i can find out about what tabs are linked to what pools.....i want to import TAB prices to my excel sheet the only tab i can get this info from is the ACT-TAB when i look at the site the win and place prices match those of SuperTab so i say they are linked with them...just like my WA-TAB but the exotics don't match...as an example today sunday the first at flemington
WA-TAB
quin 45.20
exacta 74.50
trifecta 1502.10

supertab
quin 72.70
exacta 113.00
trifecta 1502.10

as you can see the trifecta matches but the quinella and exacta are different they don't match any of the other Tabs....is it possible the WA-Tab run thier own quinella and exacta pools

It is ok i got the info i needed....but a little bit strange...as i stated above win/place/tfifecta are all superTab....but they have there own pools for quinella/exacta/ and a few other bets....can't work out why this would be....also explains why some of my estimated divis have been off

Shaun writes "...can't work out why this would be..."

For the benefit of all WA TAB punters let me spell it out G-R-E-E-D.

When Vic and WA TABs merged the WA TAB did not want to surrender their 20% take from the exotic pools e.g. Vic TAB deducts 15% on Quinella.

WA TAB punters have been had - at least Ned Kelly wore a mask.

Dr P you are right. When I was missing some race results and sent an Email to Supertab they replied "Take the results off the WA TAB but beware the exotics will be different!"
If we only had to pay 10% I would be laughing all the way!

Oh c'mon guys be fair, you all know now that vic tab and nsw tab will soon be one we will all get a better deal with bigger payouts to the punter.

Really this must be true as I have read it in all the newspapers.

If the that does happen it won't change anything with Quinella/exacta and a few other bets because they still won't be apart of the pool.....i did some checks and the divis are not that bad in a lot of cases...but thats if you don't plonk a large some on the quin/exacta...i think this would have a bigger affect....good thing i still have my NSW account aswell as a few online services that offer quin bets
