I think we should see Grand Armee the only horse reach of the Steer on saturday...1300 not his strongest, but still seems alright

Could turn out a trickier race than first impression would suggest, due to the shortish (not ideal for a few of those nominated) race distance. O'Shea and Waterhouse look to hold the key at the moment but nominations have been extended. Inclusion of last years winner Fiery Venture adds interest as well, no doubt ready for another first-up tilt.

I've not rated Grand Armee or Private Steer in my top 2.

Likely leader might be hardest to beat in this race, perhaps Falkirk?

I might on FIERY VENTURE as he has bitten GRAND ARMEE before and with 2 Kg advantage. Only loose 2.5l in barrier tiral to GRAND ARMEE last week. Should be on track for this race.
