Copied from an article by Stephen R Clarke.

An average team's actual finishing position can be anywhere from top to bottom due to the inherent randomness of football.

It translates that Collingwood can finish near bottom and Melbourne can finish near top,and no-one should be surprised.
Who would have thought in their analysis that Richmond and Hawthorn football clubs were gonna fall apart.
Basically means that no more futures betting for me.
At least not until the first 11 rounds are over.
So all you Essendon fans better grab the $23.
They have as good a chance as any and are certainly overs.
I'm busting for footy to start.Does anyone know when the draft will be televised?

IT always ammuses me when the media jumpin about the fourth round and start saying such and such semi final hopes were all but dashed on the weekend when the were thrashed by so and so.... Im too ************ lazy but I wonder what the table looked like at say week 5 or 8 as opposed to the final weeks afl and league

Yeh, I am a hawks fan and after round 1 when all the press was jumping around like kids in a chocolate factory "Hawks are title contendors" etc. it was all really annoying. Four rounds later we knew where we stood  and the media jumped onto the Saints.
Sometimes I hate the media.
