Good try Mo.
Maybe just $10 for the win on all 5 dogs would have been okay? I guess you were unlucky not to get a longshot in that trifecta. Last edited by sportznut : 17th December 2004 at 10:31 PM. |

For your interest Sportznut, what I am doing is going over the fields for a meeting, but relying on memory to come up with my chances.
Names of dogs in back of my mind are stimulated when I read through the fields. Almost got a beauty when I picked Connemarra Jet in the 2nd. The wrong one turned me on. Turned out the full brother Connemara Jack won the 9th and paid $18. Both dogs are/were maidens. And thanks for your support Sportznut. There is a user about using many different logins who is trying to get me in trouble. I hope I can resist from being dragged into their nasty game. I love this forum so much and look forward to participating big time during the 2005 AFL season. P.S. The units I assigned were because I ranked them that way. Put more on the ones I feel more confident about. I really believe that is the best staking system. And I tell you what. That trifecta paid really well considering the starting prices of $2.60,$2.70,$15. If only the red fell during the run! Last edited by moeee : 17th December 2004 at 10:40 PM. Meadows tonight.
r4 no.6 Mr Tab - $10 r10 no.8 Jumbo Forrest - $10 r11 no.3 Sahhira Shine - $15 If anyone is taking a quaddie,here is my thought. Field 2 8 1,2,3,8 $16,bit more than I would like to invest but that 1st leg is damn hard. |

3rd,2nd and last. Snagged the quaddie though! So up $168.90 from total investment of $132 Just goes to show the difference between profit and loss. Had the field in the 1st leg, where the 33-1 shot beats the hot favourite by a slender margin. Last edited by moeee : 19th December 2004 at 09:25 AM. Reason: mathematic skills were lacking |

why do you bet on the dogs moe? just out of curiosity.
it seems $12.90 profit from $178 worth of bets is a bit pointless. u could have $16.02 profit from a $178 bet on New England in tomorrow's NFL game against Miami. That requires a lot less thought and takes a lot less time. Wouldn't that be easier? i mean no offence,... im just saying. |

No, the $190.90 is the profit, not the return. Mo's actually doing well so far with these tips.
